If not already installed setup the IIS webserver in a 2012 or 2016 Windows Server Environment. DSE manager is a web-based application.

Refer to Microsoft general installation instructions.

Remark: This installation guide is based on Windows Server 2012 R2 (Windows Server Version 6.2 Build 9200).

In this first step, the actual web server (Internet Information Services, Version 8-5-9600.16384) will be installed.

 

1.Within the Server-Manager window click on Manage Add Roles and Features, continue until you reach the Server Roles tab.

2.In the Server Roles section select Web Server IIS and click next
