Language and path settings are made in the startup.bat of ConnectMaster. Open the context menu of the ConnectMaster shortcut and choose “edit”

Under program variables changes to the language and startup behaivior of GIS and Visio are made

Under data variables settings for the default paths can be done

Use the backup of the old cmstartup.bat to get the old path settings back when upgrading

 

1.)If new Oracle Client is installed you may edit the new tnsnames.ora (\CM\oracle\product\11.2.0\client_1\network\admin) and copy the old services from the backed up old tnsnames.ora
