If you install CM the first time on a computer proceed directly to chapter Installation.

If you have already installed an older version of CM on the machine you cannot just update the old version you have to make a new complete installation, though it can be in parallel to the old one. You might have to go through some additional steps, so go ahead with chapter 5. Upgrade preparations.
