IP pools are logical summaries of IP (sub)networks.

IP pools can be extended at any time.

An IP subnet can be assigned to multiple IP pools.

Example:

IP-Pool "DCN.SYD" contains the IP network 192.168.206.0/24 and thus all IP subnets contained in it including address resources.
