Select your server in the list and click OK

Since this server requires authentication, a window is opened asking for a user and password, which should be provided by the provider.

Note: It is not recommended to store the authentication information.

Now MapInfo reads which layers are available on the server

 

Select the layer(s) to be displayed in your WMS Layer TAB and click Add, then the layer(s) will appear in the right window.

Hint:

If more than one layer is used for the TAB, it must be ensured that the correct order was kept otherwise objects can be covered by objects that should be in the background.

Hint:

Don't forget, in the TAB layer you can't select or see single layers from the server, that means only the whole TAB layer can be shown or hidden, not the single server layers which are shown in this TAB layer.
