Introduction
The layout window helps make printing your map much convenient. When printing without layout window, you only print the active window and it doesn’t give you much control over how it will look. The layout window acts like an interactive print preview where you can arrange multiple items (e.g. map title, info texts, legend, images and maps) to print on a single page.
The printing directory: C:\GIS\CMPROD\Print_template. Following is the directory structure:

The workspace CMx_A3_Landscape_v0.wor is the starting point for the map printing. The workspace contains the Print_Setting and the A3_Detail layout template. Each time when you save the workspace, it’s advisable not to overwrite the base workspace. However if you accidentally overwrote it, you can retrieve it by uncompressing the CMx_A3_Landscape_v0.zip zip file.
