Alarms are an instrument for monitoring threshold values. Triggered by certain actions (triggers), alarms check properties against defined limit values.
Possible applications could be here:
•Monitoring cable load
•Monitoring of space availability in ducts
•Monitoring the availability of space in a cabinet/closure
•Availability free reserve ports at ODF's / MUX
•Ethernet section Threshold value overbooking
•Monitoring the utilization of card maximum capacity
•Monitoring the change in the balancing of a circuit when a card is plugged into MUX
•Date check, for example, warranty expiration date (attribute) or planned replacement date (attribute)
•Date check e.g. reach status date or expiration since status date
