Port renaming is processed at sync level in DSE Manager refer to section port renaming Juniper & Cisco.  Ports on the cards need to be created using correct string format for DSE to rename the ports accurately.  

 

Example Cisco OC192 + 10GBASE-L (Te is used got 10GE and Gi for 1GE)
