•Component Type Mapping: The DSE Config provides functionality to add and delete component types to the mapping, missing component types coming from the NMS (NE,NI and SFPs) will be added to the config files, user need must select the correct mapping from the CM drop down menu.  

 

Port renaming support will be enabled or disabled per CM Component Type (NIs/SFPs)

 

•Standard attributes mapping: Mandatory fields have been preconfigured to be mapped to the correct fields and cannot be updated once created it, optional fields can be selected to be updated during the sync, if unselected optional fields will not be updated.  

 

•Free attributes mapping: More attributes can be added to the sync by adding them to the free attributes mapping, type the attribute name coming from the NMS and select the correct mapping to CM from the drop down menu, free attributes can be set to Autoupdate, flagmissmatch or ignore, the type and message to be logged can also be modified.
