Port

The following applies to ports and VLAN´s:

•Only card ports can be allocated to the VLAN.

•A port be allocated to several VLAN´s.

MAC

A MAC address can be freely allocated a component/port. No syntax check is carried out.

VLAN ó IP

The following relationships exist between VLAN and IP:

•An IP network from the IP address pool can be allocated to the VLAN.

•An IP address from the IP address administration can be allocated to the VLAN. The MUX/Card/Port allocated to the IP address is displayed.

Mixed

A default VLAN type enables a combined definition of all VLAN types.
