Working in Planning Mode
Usage of ConnectMaster from a planning perspective is the same in project mode as in operational mode. Users basically work as normal while they work on the network change. With benefit however of knowing that they are not affecting the base data.
As a result, users can delete, modify or add new objects as required. ConnectMaster standard location and component create dialog box has additional properties to identify project and stage/activity.

If just the child object is updated by the project the object and its parent is highlighted. Parent is highlighted to show at a higher level that a change is planned for the object children(s). For example, a Network Element is added to an existing Rack
