Default Edit Rule

Per default to edit a distributed object a user needs to have edit rights for all segments the object is distributed.

Edit distributed data

Allows the editing also of a distributed object in the area of an assigned segment if a user has the rights for editing local objects in the assigned segment.
 
User rights -> Network Segments
 

 
Inactive: No editing of the distributed objects is possible even the parts in the assigned segment, these are all under laid in gray as a sign of being non editable.
 

Active: Editing of the parts in assigned segment is possible, under laid in white.
