Segment to Object Relations
The segment to object relation describes how an object with its segment assignment is seen out of the view of the user and his segment assignments.
There are 3 possible values:
There are specific Icons available symbolizing the segments relation between an Object (Location, Component, Transportcontainer) and the User.

Object to User
The segments an Object has assigned are checked in relation to the segments a User belongs to. |
The Object has all segments as the User has |
The Object has some but more segments than the User has |
The Object belongs to segments the User doesn’t have |
For the object ‘Project’ there are special rules for segmentation in place (see chapter 5.1.14). So the segments relation between an Object (Location, Component, Transportcontainer) contained in the Project and the Project itself has a separate Icon.
