General

To use network segmentation in the geo module, the Oracle Locator must be used, meaning the data of the layers are managed in the database and no longer in files. Using views external objects are hidden.
 
Additionally it is only possible if users are authorized in CM using Password or Single Sign-on.
 
User edit or view rights from the segment assignments are not applied in the GEO Module. The rights from the user management are still valid.

For the moment the extra rights for GEO still apply, therefore a user with only viewer rights in a segment, can still start actions in GEO when the GEO right is set to normal, see above.
