VLAN-Networks

VLAN Networks are not tied to locations and therefore there is not automatic mechanism for assigning network segments.  (In contrast to net components).

VLAN-Networks can be manually assigned. When creating a VLAN-Network the segments of the user creating the network are automatically assigned to the VLAN-Network.

VLANs (Tag)

A VLAN is automatically assigned to the network segments of the VLAN-network when created. The assignment can be changed manually.
