Properties

Definition
A cable inherits the segment assignments from the A and Z location. If these are different segments the cable is assigned to all segments. Cable segment inter locations do not influence the segment assignment. If the cable is created in a duct or blown into one then the cable inherits the segment assignment. If the cable is removed from the duct the assignments stay the same.

Assignment
The segment assignment can be seen in the cable details, foreign segments are concealed, except if the user has the right „External Segment Visibility“

Visibility

External cable are not visible. Distributed cable (including some external locations) are visible, the external objects are concealed, unless the user has the right „External Segment Visibility“
