Visibility
A component is visible if it is part of at least one user assigned segment. Non assigned components are no longer visible with an active network segmentation.
Edit
Editable if the object is only local in one segment in which the user has edit right. If the component is also assigned to another segment (distributed component) for which the user has no editable rights, it can only be edited if the user has the right „Edit distributed data“.
Create
The component inherits the segments of the location in which the component is created
Change assignments
Changes are not automatically propagated they must be chosen manually.
Copy
If a component is copied the segment assignments are not included. The new location inherits the assignments of new location
Add to top component
The new sub component (Element) inherits the assignments of the top component
Delete from the top component
The segment assignment of the component is not changed
