Drop cable excess length

i.To access the settings:

File > Library > Rapid Network Planner > Rules > Drop Cable and Microduct Dimensioning

ii.The excess length can be defined at the following point of the cable:

RNP settings

Description

Start location

Start point of the cable

Segment via location

Intermediate point of the cable

BEP location

End point of the cable

 

iii.The default value of these settings is 0.

 

iv.The base unit of the settings inherits the unit system of ConnectMaster. If unit system is International System of Units (SI), the define lengths are in meter (m). If U.S. Customary Units, then is in feet (ft). The default unit system of ConnectMaster is SI.

 

v.The excess lengths of the cables are not drawn on GEO.
