IP Net Type Public and Private

IP Address subnets are set automatically as a function of the IP addresses included in the subnet.

On upgrade, the relevant address space of the IP addresses is checked and the value for IP Net Type is set as “Public” or “Private” accordingly.

On creation of new IP Subnet, the value is automatically set as a function of the address range selected. As a result it is not possible to create a subnet that spans both public and private address space.
