Note that this is not mandatory in order to create concatenated SONET transport containers, as it can be created manually also. It is recommended for SONET rates however, where the concatenation will be used often, to improve the workflow to create and route these circuits.

Procedure

1.In the Library, open the detail of the standard SONET rate for which the concatenation will be set:

2.Insert a new row, select the SPE rate to be concatenated, and the number (for an STS-3, there are 3 x SPE’s concatenated):
