To highlight the benefits of the new feature an example six site network will be considered. Normally the Logical Auto-Routing would return two ways when attempting to find a path for an E1 over the STM-16 network.

In this case we want to avoid any “Planned” bearer TC which should result in only one way being returned.

Procedure

To use the new feature, set the “Status” field to = Planned on the Criteria Tab of new Logical Auto-Routing operation and select Continue.

The Worker Tab will now only show one way instead of two.
