Description

Set up automatic naming on a TC that will use the start and end location for the TC to generate the name.

Procedure

 

1.Open the Transmission rates kind window in ConnectMaster:  File->Library->Logical paths->Transmission rates kind

2.Create new Transmission rate kind

3.Enable Autonaming and set the Name default value. In this case <startloc.name> will return the starting location and

4.Assign a transmission type to the kind – In this example the 10GB type has been assigned to the example created above

5.Then when you create a TC of that Transmission rates kind it will have the start and end locations in the name
