Mode of operation

In order to create WT components , the mode of operation at component type level for cards and mux was increased by the following entries:

•WT

Type

The cards  are distinguished by indicating the type in

•Transmission line unit and

•Transmitter and receiver unit

.

Transfer rate

The transfer rate of a WT card of the type “Transmission line unit” can only be defined at component type level based on a WT type.

The transfer rate of a WT card of the type “Transmitter and receiver unit” can only be defined at component type level based on a WT type.

In addition to the transfer rate,

•the channel to be used (corresponds to used frequency range) or

•a free frequency range to be used

can be defined for each port of a transmitter and receiver unit.

Once these values are defined, a WT trail terminating on this port is automatically interconnected in the defined channel and/or frequency range when interconnecting in a WT section.
