In detail: |
The cosmetic level and marking level are merely virtual levels. They are always available and cannot be removed when working in ConnectMaster. All objects of these two levels are not saved and get lost when closing the workspace! |
Cosmetic level |
The cosmetic level always features the fields “CmExKey”, “CmName” and “CmDisplayText”. This level is used as a general workspace; here e.g. networks can be sketched before they are imported into and saved onto another level of the map. |

Marking level |
In the marking level, map objects can be created or duplicated to especially highlight / mark them. The marking style is defined in the ConnectMaster MapXtreme settings. Please refer to Chapter 10.3.8. |
ConnectMaster level |
All objects of this level possess the “CmExKey” field and can hence be allocated to a ConnectMaster element. |
Labelling level |
A labelling level can be created for each level. This level defines which field of the appertaining level is to be displayed in the map as labelling of its objects. The only objects of a labelling level are labelling fields in the map! |
Raster level |
Any number of raster maps can be loaded into a workspace – the appertaining levels are designated as raster levels. |
