Labelling level

This labelling level defines which field of the appertaining level is to be displayed in the map as labelling of its objects. This level has the following characteristics:

Sequence

Which position the level holds in the level list.

This item defines which field of the appertaining level is used as labelling.

Line style

Line style for the line between the labelling object and the object itself.

Text style

Text style of labelling.

Label lines

Line type for the line between the labelling object and the object itself. The following can be selected.

None

Simplex

Arrow

Position

 

 

Orientation

Indicates where the labelling object is supposed to be placed in relation to the object. The following options are possible:

Label Offset

Indicates how many pixels away from the object itself the labelling object must be.

Rotation

Specifies how the labelling object should be rotated:

Parallel to one segment

Parallel to multiple segments

Specific angle (angle selectable in 45° steps)

Label Text Expression

Combinations of several fields can be displayed as labelling in the map, e.g.:

The level “Location” includes the fields “Name” and “Location system”.  

The following can now be displayed as labelling:  

Formula: Location system + ‚:' + Name
