IP address filters

Filters in general

In ConnectMaster, a large number of filters are available to the user. This also includes the IP address filter. For details on the general characteristics of a filter, please refer to the Chapter “Filters” in the ConnectMaster manual.

Special filter criteria

The filter criteria are subdivided into

“General”

The filter criteria under “General” are defined as follows:

Network	Text	Not empty Empty Equal	Search for all IP addresses of a specific network
IP/Ethernet	Text	Not empty Empty Equal	Search for specific IP addresses
Component	Multiplexer	Equal Unequal	Search for IP addresses of a specific multiplexer. For details, see below.

Port

Card port

Unequal

Search for IP addresses of a specific card port. For details, see below.

Used by

Organisation

Any

Equal

Unequal

None

Search for IP addresses of a specific organisation. For details, see below.

“Options”

The filter criteria under “Options” are mere display options and are defined as follows:

Criterion	Type	Operators	Description
Network	IP type	Yes No	Only IP addresses of IP type “Network” are displayed.
Gateway	IP type	Yes No	Only IP addresses of IP type “Gateway” are displayed.
Broadcast	IP type	Yes No	Only IP addresses of IP type “Broadcast” are displayed.

As a result, the following IP addresses are displayed:

•The IP addresses directly allocated to Component/Port/Used by.

•Additionally, all IP addresses of the same network that are of IP type “Network”, “Broadcast” and without allocation.
