Special case where Attachment TC is routed across a Local Box VPLS. This kind of architecture is common for Alcatel/Nokia 77XX MPLS Networks as the don’t have native switching capabilities. This switching requires a local VLL or VPLS setup with a box.

Tips and Tricks

Attachment TC only need to route from edge device upto the VPN SAP. Use Extend Worker (Phys) when routing into the Virtual Ports.
