A duct route is an organised grouping of components of the category “Duct/Route”.

The arrangement of the elements is basically free, however, there are sorting algorithms sorting the elements into a continuous route using their end locations.

Duct route type

In ConnectMaster, the user can define any number of duct route types to describe a duct route more accurately. The duct route can then be allocated a type from the list of predefined types.

Content of duct route

The content of an duct route can be created in different ways:

The elements can be additionally or removed manually.

All elements of another duct route can be loaded.  

The entire path of a location network can be stored in a duct route as a result of the filter “Routing duct”. Please also refer to Chapter and/or „Routing duct.

 

Sequence

The elements can be automatically lined up using the component locations. The sequence can also be changed manually at any time.

Different evaluations can be performed for duct routes:
