The programme interface is essentially divided into three areas; visualisation area, navigation area, and quick access area.

The visualisation area (or also main window) is the user's main workbench. In this area, locations, components, etc. can be created and modified. This area can trigger further actions and process graphic networks.

In the navigation window, locations and components are loaded via the Explorer or tasks, which are processed in the main window later on. The status bar displays version and database information.

This chapter describes the general appearance of the Connect Master programme interface. The visualisation area tabs and result lists are also described in detail in this chapter.
