ConnectMaster licenses are granted for both single PC and network solutions. In network solutions (Client/Server solution), Clients are licensed as “floating Clients” (simultaneous users). This means that the Client software can be installed on any number of user PCs in the network; the number of simultaneous accesses to the server is monitored and is a determining factor for licensing.

The software licence is composed of:

1.Number of administrable connection points (Use Level) in the system. In ConnectMaster, there are 3 Use Levels. Use Level I makes it possible to administer up to 40,000 connection points; Use Level II up to 80,000 connection points, and User Level III enables the administration of an unlimited number of connection points in the system.
An upgrade from a lower to higher User Level is possible at any time.  Likewise, it is possible to switch from a single-PC solution to a network solution at any time. It is possible for the user to display the use of its licence (number of already used connection points in the system) at any time.

2.Number of users and viewers (viewers)

3.Number of Terminal Service users and of Terminal Service viewers (viewers) > e.g. Citrix

The foregoing three items constitute the basic licence. Additional ConnectMaster modules/interfaces can also be acquired independently.
