A signal is one of the most elementary logical basic elements in ConnectMaster and is hence used in many modules. This chapter only describes the actual signals and their management. Please refer to the following chapters for further possible applications:

The signal system  is built hierarchically and consists of the following basic elements:

•Signal categories        

•Signal types

•Signals

 

Besides this strictly hierarchical structure, there are still signal groups into which signals can be grouped in any order.
