Capacity
preconnection

The capacities of the card/module ports placed in the network element can be preconnected. In a multiplexer, ports of various cards can be wired up similar to the preconnection within a card.

In the network element Mux_Bregenz STM, a preconnection of the E-1 card ports of the card K_E1 to an STM port of the card K-1 is realised on various time slots.
The following ports are to be interconnected from the entire K_E1: Port1 in Port 1 of K-1 on time slot 1, Port 2 of K_E1 in Port1 of K-1 on time slot 2, ….
