Attribute type defines the name of the attribute and which specific values the attribute may assume.

An attribute type is defined through the following characteristics:

Predefined Values

 

A value can be entered via +/-, which then be selected for the attribute. The order can changed with /\ and \/. The value in the first row becomes the default valued, meaning in the first place should be something like ---Please choose--- .

The data type determines which values the attribute may assume. Possible data types are:

Any file that can be opened. The user can determine which programme is to be used to open the file.
