Actions

The following actions can be performed with cross-connections in ConnectMaster:

Patching = Connect

Here one or several cross-connections are created.  

Separating

Existing cross-connections are removed again; see 0.

Shifting

If only one point of the cross-connection is changed, the action is called shifting. The correspondent term in practice would be re-routing or re-switching.
